We have compiled important information and offers for you so that you can start your studies well prepared.

We want to provide you with the best possible support in finding your way to a successful degree course.
The University of Lübeck offers an application portal where you will be guided through your application step by step. All required documents are also uploaded there and you can enrol there once you have been admitted. Applications for all degree programs except Human Medicine and Psychology are made via the portal.
For Human Medicine and Psychology, you must first register at hochschulstart.de. For Medicine, the entire application is made via hochschulstart, for Psychology you then apply with your BID/BAN in our application portal.

Applications for the dual study programs in Midwifery and Nursing are submitted via the respective practice partners. Further information can be found under Application procedure for Midwifery Science and Application procedure for Nursing.
You can use the online procedure if you are a German citizen or EU national and/or have a German higher education entrance qualification.
German nationals with a foreign school-leaving qualification from outside the EU require nationwide recognition of their higher education entrance qualification in order to apply. This is issued by the certificate recognition office of the respective federal state.
If you are neither a German citizen nor an EU citizen, please contact the International Office of the University of Lübeck.
You can only apply for the first Bachelor's semester in the winter semester. For the Bachelor's degree courses in Psychology, Medical Nutritional Sciences, Molecular Life Science, Physiotherapy and Nursing, for which admission is restricted, you can apply from May 1 to July 15.
For all other Bachelor's degree programs, you can apply from 01.05. to 15.09.

You can always apply for the first semester of the Master's program in the winter semester. The application deadline is then from 01.05. to 15.07. The application deadline for the summer semester is from 01.11. to 15.01.

You can apply for
- a centrally allocated degree program (via hochschulstart, Human Medicine or Psychology).
- a degree program with restricted admission and
- an admission-free degree program
of the University of Lübeck.
You choose the degree program that is closest to yours in terms of subject matter and/or the university that is closest in terms of location. In the end, the data can be corrected by the Student Service Center at the latest when you enrol.
Yes, you can do this by sending us a request to cancel your enrollment. You will then receive a refund of the semester fee from the Studentenwerk and ASTA, but not the registration fee.
In the application portal under "My applications" you can edit your application again via "Withdraw and edit". This only applies as long as the application deadline has not yet expired. You can also change your master data, such as address and telephone number, directly in the portal.
If you cannot correct the error yourself or the deadline has already expired, you can send an email to the Student Service Center(ssc@uni-luebeck.de), pointing out the error and writing the correct data.
