There are a number of important organizational steps at the start of your studies. Introductory events, preliminary courses and other offers help you to familiarize yourself with the course of studies, the university systems and the first compulsory tasks.
Here you will find all the relevant information you need to prepare for your start and clarify any questions you may have.
In addition to planning courses and using university IT services, there are many other topics that are relevant for first semester students - from finding accommodation to financing your studies.
Use the information available to familiarize yourself with the procedures at an early stage and start your studies well prepared.
After your enrollment, you will have received an e-mail with your IDM access data. In the same letter you will find a link to a page with instructions on how to change your initial password, among other things.
With your IDM access data, you have access to all university services, for example your e-mail account, Moodle and QIS, where your study progress is managed.
The university always provides student ID cards digitally. Please use the Uninow app for this purpose. If you are unable to use the app, please contact the Student Service Center.
You can download study and Bafög certificates yourself from our campus-portal.
