Study healthy

The team at the central Prevention and University Health Management (UGM) unit looks after students' health. The UGM is responsible for the practical implementation of health management throughout the university, for preventative services as well as research and teaching in these areas.

The work covers the four pillars of mental health, exercise and nutritional behavior as well as communication. We design the UGM to be evidence-based, interdisciplinary, professional and personal.

The LUST study (Lübeck University Student Trial) forms the central foundation of our measures to promote student health. It enables us to continuously monitor the stress and resources of our students and at the same time creates a reliable basis for further research projects. In addition, all of the courses we develop are systematically examined and further developed through scientifically sound intervention studies and accompanying teaching evaluations.
