Care

Taking responsibility for people and society with the nursing profession

Nursing is a profession of great social importance. People of all ages are the focus of your work: from caring for sick children and adolescents to adults and the very elderly. You accompany diagnostics and therapy and support sick people in making the best possible recovery.
Healthcare is becoming increasingly complex due to age and multiple illnesses - this is where nursing science plays an important role.
By focusing on research methods and scientifically sound nursing practice, the nursing degree program prepares you to provide evidence-based nursing care to people with complex care needs.

In addition to interprofessional courses, the degree program offers elective modules on family health nursing, intermediate care, nursing in oncology or teaching and learning in nursing practice.
With your skills in research and practice, you can further develop nursing care and thus contribute to meeting the current challenges in healthcare.

Opinions of students

During my studies, I not only learn how to master difficult care situations, but also why we need to question old routines. Today, I am self-confident, because I know that nursing is not just tradition - it is science, progress and, above all, humanity.
