The additive Bachelor's degree course in Occupational Therapy/Logopaedics (part-time) at the University of Lübeck always starts in the winter semester.
Application deadlines and application procedure
Applications can be submitted via the online application portal between May 1st and September 15th for the respective winter semester. Here you go to "Application for the first semester". There you will find the Occupational Therapy/Logopaedics course under the admission-free courses. There you will also find information on the application process.
Admission requirements
The admission requirements include a completed vocational school qualification in occupational therapy or speech therapy or a degree from the CJD Schule Schlaffhorst-Andersen (to be proven by a professional certificate) and a university entrance qualification (Abitur certificate). Prospective students without a high school diploma have the opportunity to take part in a university aptitude test at the University of Lübeck. An application for this examination can be submitted by February 15th of each year. You can find more information here . The Occupational Therapy/Logopaedics course is admission-free, i.e. there are no admission restrictions such as a numerus clausus.
Studying without Abitur
Prospective students without an Abitur have the opportunity to take part in a university aptitude test at the University of Lübeck, which, if passed, will give them a subject-specific university entrance qualification for Schleswig-Holstein. An application for this examination must be submitted by February 15th of each year. You can find more information here.
Completion of vocational training in the fall
If you do not regularly complete your vocational training until the fall, you can still begin your studies in the respective winter semester. To do so, your online application must be received by September 15 and all documents to be submitted by post (with the exception of the professional certificate) must be submitted. The professional certificate must be submitted by October 15. If you have not yet received this by this date, you can submit your final certificate or a provisional certificate from the vocational college by prior arrangement with the head of degree program.
German nationals and EU citizens can use the online application procedure. Prospective students with a different nationality and/or a foreign educational qualification can find information on how to apply on the website of the International Office of the University of Lübeck.
