Classes and lectures:

  • Basics of general and developmental psychology (lecture, 2 SWS)
  • Human biology, physiology and anatomy for nursing professions (lecture, 4 SWS)

Workload:

  • 90 hours in-classroom work
  • 90 hours private studies

Contents of teaching:

  • Fundamentals of developmental and cell biology
  • Fundamentals of anatomy: location, structure, functions of specific human organs and organ systems, including the different types of tissue (focus: cardiovascular system, respiratory system).
  • Fundamentals of general and developmental psychology

Qualification-goals/Competencies:

  • Knowledge and understanding: Students have a basic knowledge and understanding of developmental and cell biology.
  • Knowledge and understanding: You know and understand the position and structure of the human organs and organ systems.
  • Knowledge and understanding: You know and understand the initial functions and modes of operation of human organs and organ systems.
  • Knowledge and understanding: They know and understand frequently received psychological theories on human development and behaviour.
  • Use, application and generation of knowledge: Students can apply knowledge and understanding in different learning contexts as well as transfer it to professional situations.
  • Communication and cooperation: Students are able to communicate subject-specific content in a way that is appropriate to the target audience and use subject-specific terminology.
