Basic modules, specialization area and compulsory elective area in the Master's degree in Medical Informatics

"Basic module practical computer science"

According to the study regulations, one basic module from the subject area "Practical Computer Science" must be taken. The five other basic modules (see below) can then be selected in the compulsory elective area.

A basic module in practical computer science is offered every semester (summer and winter).

In the compulsory elective area, modules totaling 14 credit points (CP) must be selected. When selecting the modules, please note when the individual modules are offered. Information on this can be found in the linked module descriptions and in UnivIS (under course catalog).

In addition to the rule that each module can only be credited once, there is only the following restriction when selecting modules: a maximum of one module from the "interdisciplinary area" (see below) can be credited in the compulsory elective area.
