Classes and lectures:

  • Evidence-based Practice in Gynokology (seminar, 1 SWS)
  • Evidence-based Practice in Paediatrics (exercise, 2 SWS)
  • Evidence-based Practice in Gynokology (exercise, 1 SWS)
  • Evidence-based Practice in Psychiatrics (seminar, 0.5 SWS)
  • Evidence-based Practice in Paediatrics (seminar, 1 SWS)

  • Guidelines for treatment plans and treatments
  • Application of the techniques and procedures learned so far, deepening of knowledge and problem-oriented application
  • Hypothesis-guided examination and treatment of pediatric patients taking into account activity and participation
  • Sensorimotor development of the child
  • Parent education
  • Use of pediatric assessments
  • Hypothesis-guided examinations and treatment of patients in surgical gynecology and obstetrics
  • Hypothesis-guided examinations and treatment of patients after urological surgery
  • Use of gynecological assessments
  • Preparation and follow-up treatment of pregnant or postpartum patients
  • Application of the theoretical models (salutogenesis, ICF)

Qualification-goals/Competencies:

  • students can record a pediatric / gynecological / urological finding, prepare treatment plans, perform and document treatments and adapt them based on evidence, taking into account the guidelines and clinical reasoning.
  • They can independently form evidence-based hypotheses and take module-related, therapeutic decision-making paths, question them during the entire therapeutic process and, if necessary, change them based on evidence.
  • They can recognize module-related clinical patterns and act therapeutically based on given guidelines.
  • They are able to act consciously, purposefully, systematically and process-oriented in module-related supply situations.
  • They are able to name and apply health science theory models.
  • They can analyze and reflect on ethically challenging care situations for specific diseases.
  • The students know the motor development in the first year of life and can name motor deviations/problems of an infant or toddler and determine the developmental age.

Admission requirements for taking the module:
- None

Admission requirements for participation in module examination(s):
- The examination performance can only be achieved if the final examinations of the modules PT1530-KP06, PT1040-KP10 and PT1540-KP08 have been successfully passed.
- In the case of absences that are not taken into account by the MPhG, §11, Para. 2, the examination board can refuse admission to the module final examination.
