• Product development (practical course, 6 SWS)
• Basics for product development (exercise, 2 SWS)

• 20 hours exam preparation

• 30 hours oral presentation (including preparation)

• 120 hours group work

• developing a business plan
• planning and developing a prototype
• techniques for management and planning
• product cycles
• economic studies
• licences

Qualification-goals/Competencies:

• Students can start working in or leading a team for product development in informatics.
• They can organize and conduct the different phases of product development.
• They can assess legal and economic restrictions of product development.
• They are able to play different roles in a developing team.
