- Psychoacoustics (lecture, 2 SWS)

Contents of teaching:
- Basic concepts of psychophysics
- Methods and models of different dimensions of auditory perception in normal hearing, such as loudness, pitch and modulation perception
- Auditory filters
- Simultaneous and temporal masking
Qualification-goals/Competencies:
- The students should gain in-depth knowledge about psychoacoustic methods and models, and be able to rate them with respect to effective aural rehabilitation of hearing-impaired persons.
