Contents of teaching:
- Critical evaluation of scientific results and reports
- Illumination of methodological problems and recent answers to these problems in psychology.
- How to recognize and avoid academic misconduct and plagiarism
- Scientific writing
- Focus: Open Science
Qualification-goals/Competencies:
- Towards the end of their studies, students will have acquired the skills to critically engage with science and science communication in their discipline.
- Students are able to structure valid arguments and critically discuss results.
- Students are able to differentiate between scientific expert communication and lay communication.
- Students are familiar with the standards and can apply techniques for presenting scientific results in a manner appropriate to the target audience.

- assignment in seminar (presentation, paper, etc.), not-graded
- Written report
