Classes and lectures:

  • Self-reflection (exercise, 2 SWS)

Workload:

  • 30 hours in-classroom work
  • 30 hours private studies

Contents of teaching:

  • Reflection of the own psychotherapeutic actions
  • Understanding of personal cultural, social and ethical ideas and their effects on the psychotherapeutic activity
  • Strengths and weaknesses of the own personality and their effects on the psychotherapeutic activity
  • Perception of one's own emotions, cognitions, motives, and behaviors in the therapeutic process
  • Personal development and self-regulation
  • Recognizing the limits of the own therapeutic action

Qualification-goals/Competencies:

  • Students can reflect on their own therapeutic actions in relation to the strengths and weaknesses of their own personality.
  • Students are able to reflect on their own psychotherapeutic activity in cultural, social and ethical context.
  • Students develop their personality and accept suggestions for improvement
  • Students strengthen their self-regulation skills and learn to develop them further.
  • Students are able to recognize the limits of their own therapeutic actions and react accordingly.
