- PY-1605-S Introduction to Sport Psychology (seminar, 2 SWS)
Workload:

- Current research and debates in sport psychology, including the following topics:
- Sport and motivation
- Performance under pressure
- Attribution and attention
- Exercise psychology and physical activity
- Experimental sport psychology
- Judgment and decisions in sport
- Anticipation
- Applied sport psychology
- Motor development and diagnostics
- Perspectives on children and adults
Qualification-goals/Competencies:
- Students learn the basic concepts, theories, models and methods of sport psychology research
- Students are able to understand and critically reflect on original literature from sports psychology research
- Students develop their own questions on the topics of sport psychology
- Students acquire skills in independent literature research
- Students deepen their skills in discussing and jointly reflecting on specialist content
- Students acquire skills that enable them to go through the steps of the sport psychology research process, including research methodological procedures
