- PY2101 - Becoming Human - Themen, Theorien und Methoden der Frühkindlichen Entwicklung (seminar, 2 SWS)

Contents of teaching:
- Theories of early childhood development
- Research methods in early developmental research
- Human development in contrast to other species what makes humans human?
- Cognition and emotion in early development

- Students have in-depth knowledge of early cognitive and emotional development, research methods in developmental psychology, and species-comparative research approaches.
- You can independently develop teaching content and are proficient in continuous work on a research question.
- You are able to conduct independent research and present your findings to the group.
- You can apply what you have learned to more advanced questions.
- You are proficient in discussing scientific issues within the group.
- You are able to jointly develop and present different approaches to the group.
