Contents of teaching:
- Psychological measurement
- Steps in test development and construction
- Test theory fundamentals (e.g., classical test theory, probabilistic test theory)
- Item analyses (e.g., descriptive statistics, difficulty, discrimination, factor analyses)
- Main psychometric quality criteria (objectivity, reliability, validity)
- Designing questionnaire items (personality diagnostics)
Qualification-goals/Competencies:
- Students have in-depth knowledge of the theoretical and methodological foundations of psychological diagnostics.
- You are able to compare psychometric quality criteria of test procedures and interpret diagnostic information.
- You are familiar with the fundamentals of test procedure development.
