If you are not yet sure whether you want to change universities, please pay the semester fee anyway and wait to deregister until you have received admission from the other university.
You will then be refunded the semester fee you have already paid.

The semester fee will be published in good time on this page under ‘Composition of semester fee’.
You need the Uni Lübeck app for the digital student ID.
A change of address may be necessary! This is possible in the HIS Online Portal. Certificates of enrollment etc. are also available there.
If necessary, please submit a further application for enrollment in a doctoral semester in good time. This can be submitted for a maximum of 2 semesters.
Payment of the one-off enrollment fee of 40.00 euros is mandatory for new enrollments.
From the summer semester 2026, all doctoral students must also pay the administrative fee of 60,00 Euro.
Therefore, the doctoral application and the payment of the administrative fee of 60,00 Euro are required for successful re-registration for the summer semester.
The use of the semester ticket is optional and the receipt of a student ID card requires the transfer of the semester fee.
If you wish to use the Deutschlandticket, the full semester fee of 375.60 Euro must be transferred. Please also make sure you use the correct payment reference!
