• Biochemistry for Biophysics (lecture, 4 SWS)

• Proteins: structure and dynamics
• Enzymes: structure, function and regulation
• Intermediary metabolism
• Biomembranes and cell respiration
• DNA Replication, transcription, translation

• Understanding structures and functions of biochemical important biomolecules
• Understanding biochemical interrelations and their importance for cellular metabolism
• Knowledge of biochemical analysis procedures
