Are you interested in natural sciences and computer science, but are still undecided about what you would like to study? Then perhaps the orientation semester is the ideal option for you.
During the orientation semester, you attend lectures as a guest student throughout the winter semester. This will give you a good impression of the nature of the courses and the demands placed on students. In particular, you gain an insight into the content of the courses and can better assess whether they meet your own expectations.
There will also be a module during the semester in which topics such as personal development, career and study orientation will be dealt with in depth.
In order to compensate for subject-related deficits, we also offer subject-specific courses in addition to orientation, so that you are broadly positioned after the winter semester.
The orientation semester is recognized as a waiting semester for degree courses with restricted admission. During the semester, you can attend selected courses as a guest student and even collect your first credit points, which will then be credited to your degree course.
