For information on visas, insurance and similar topics, we recommend the website euraxess.

Healthcare and health insurance

International doctoral candidates must have health insurance. Without this, you cannot enrol at a German university.

You can find detailed information on the website of the DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service) and on euraxess.

We also advise you to take out private liability insurance.
